Ponderings Of A Seeking Heart

 God is calling out men and women of God! He’s calling you to come out and come up higher than ever before. You will need to put on the mind of Christ and not the mind of the world. He says it’s time for the Church to divorce the world! And you must know Him, really know Him, not about Him but KNOW Him. You must know Him so well that His mind becomes your mind and His ways become your ways. You must know how He thinks and has His wisdom if you are going to be part of the ‘safe’ place for those who are perishing to run to! There will be a time when the lost will be running to and fro looking for answers that only you will have. It’s time to cast down your own thinking and walk in His ways instead of yours! The dark is gonna get darker so the Light needs to shine brighter. Lean not on your own understanding but in all ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path. Then and only then will those that are lost be able to see the glory on you and in you! They will know you by His glory that will shine upon you. He has always had a remnant and He’s calling that remnant out now!

I believe we all can be misled, miss the mark, listen to the wrong voice. I don’t care who you are or how spiritual (godly) you think yourself to be, sometime in your life (and I’d wager more than once) this has happened to you. I know of several different occasions someone has come online beaming and praising God for bringing just the most perfect person into your life. He was absolutely hand picked by God just for you. God is definitely in this! And then a short time later they’re back crying the blues, he was not such a godly man. He’s an abuser, drinker or whatever and it’s over. Oops God, you made a mistake! The one who is totally perfection made a mistake? I don’t think so. Could it have been that you were listening to a different voice other than Holy Spirit? Nah, not you…you’re too spiritual!  In this world we live in, that which is broken is without value. We generally try to avoid conditions of brokenness with our finances, our emotions, and our relationships with others. But carefully note this about God’s kingdom, there is a large contrast here between the will of God and the will of man.  And unfortunately, in this world we establish our own pecking order. We tend to place people in social levels based upon their wealth, education, or status. We think we know “our place” and we unconsciously place some people below us in the social order, and a few above us. But the ground is level at the foot of the cross.  Continue reading →

 Let me say this from the onset…I’m a tongue talking Holy Spirit believing Charismatic Pentecostal and love to move with flow of the Spirit of God. I love it when Holy Spirit moves in a service but it grieves my heart when I hear of the rise of strange manifestations in the name of the Holy Spirit….manifestations that are certainly not of God. Wild fire or strange fire is what it’s often referred to. Let me tell you right from the start…. Holy Spirit is a gentleman, He doesn’t come to make us spiritual fruits, flakes and nuts. He’s not into making fruit cakes! The Holy Ghost comes to convict us of sin, and of God’s righteousness, and of judgment. He comes to comfort us, to counsel us, to help us. God Himself bridged the chasm between God and man!

In the darkness of an eclipsed sun, (Luke 23:44,45 “It was now about the sixth hour, and darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour, for the sun stopped shining.”) He and a Lamb stood in the Holy of Holies. He laid the Lamb on the altar of the cross. Not the lamb of a priest or Jew or a shepherd but the sweet, holy and pure Lamb of God. The angels silently cried and warm tears fell down on their face, the first human emotion they have ever experienced, as the blood of this precious sacrifice (God’s only Son, the Holy Lamb of God) began to fall. Where had dropped the blood of lambs, now dropped the blood of life. Which had once brought death now was giving life! Where each drop of blood fell….love blossomed! Hallelujah! Thank you Lord!
